LIBERIAN COMMUNITY OF SYRACUSE, LICOS GENERAL MEETING

Meeting was called to order by the VP, Mrs. Helen Nyemah and was seconded by Mr. Allen Marwieh. Mrs. Yawah Nuah did the invocation . Minutes of last meeting were not read because they were not ready. Nineteen people attended the meeting and there were no visitor.
The Planning Committee reported the prices of LICOS T-shirts with the cost of $8.00 and the colors of the shirts are: red and blue.
Letter from the City Mayor Office was read at the meeting . Unfortunately, there were no clarifications in that regard since indeed the President, Mr. Leo Dossen was not presence at the meeting. Based on that, the Vice President suggested that the Community wait for next meeting if there were any questions to be asked.
Mrs. Mamalo Bango had apologized for mistakes made by her during one of LICOS general meetings. Mrs. Yowah Nuah responded on behalf of the Community. She said that everybody make mistakes and therefore her apology was accepted. Miss Princess Glotto asked a question about the July 26 celebration venue and the Planning Committee responded by saying that there was no venue yet at the time but promised to let the Community know at the next meeting.
Ms. Mardea Warner came at the end of the meeting and threw a little light on the graduation celebration. She said it was set for July 3, 2010.
The meeting was ajourned at 8.00 PM and Mrs. Yowah Nuah did the benediction.
